Why I haven't climbed in a year.

Short answer: life changes

Longer answer: First of all finances got in the way. The climbing gym is not cheap and for me and my climbing partners the cost got in the way. There were so many other activities we could do for less and we have all had challenges that restricted our budgets. So secondly, I didnt have climbing partners to go with. My husband was very busy with School, my dad had injured his shoulder, Lynleigh was busy with school and my brother and I financially couldn't justify it. 
Third, my husband and I committed to more fertility treatments and I was in various cycles that made it hard to plan. 
Fourth, I lived in the forest, remotely, working for Parks Canada all summer and so was not in the city. I am not really equipped for outdoor climbing. 

So anyways, I miss it, I really do. And I think I will go back to it. But for now its not a priority. I do a lot of swimming and hiking and I will go back to work in Parks this summer and live in Banff. 
We have officially finished with fertility treatments and now are moving forward with life, I go back to school in September and Im making some big changes. 

I never intended to stop posting on this site, but this has been a hard year and I have just been more quiet than usual.
